In Gundog Beginner we look at building on the focus work you've begun in Puppy basics. We are now ready to take it out in the field.

Using placeboards still our tutorial will show you how to build on this and get your dog focussed on you. Remember placeboard work is intensive so keep your sessions short.

We are still clicking and rewarding the eye contact. Although we are now expecting them to keep contact for longer. So when they make eye contact add a second or two on before clicking and rewarding. Over a number of sessions build on this.
